BECOME A TIME NINJA

BECOME A TIME NINJA

Time is often a concept that’s difficult to make sense of. I can still remember my high school days, when life revolved around study and friends, and now I’m already in my 40s. How fast life has gone by!

As time flies by I’ve realised the importance of utilising my time efficiently and effectively. To do this, I have set up strategies and tools in my business and in my life so that I can become a time ninja. Bending time to create the highest possible outcome for my efforts.

In this blog I want to share with you these strategies and tools so that you too can become a time ninja. So you can become super productive and organised to create the business of your dreams and life of your dreams.

Why is it important to become a time Ninja?

Being a time ninja, enables you to become efficient and productive and achieve more than you normally would in one day. You will start to achieve the goals that you set for yourself, and your productivity will boom.

How good will it feel to be super productive, super organised and ticking off all the goals you set for yourself and your business.

Follow this 3 step simple process to become a time ninja.

Step 1: Plan your year

The first step is to map out your entire year. I do this using a big wall calendar.

On your calendar mark all of your big and important rocks.

These include your holidays, public holidays, any events you will attend or even host yourself, important family commitments and any other BIG rocks that can’t be missed.

Block them out on your calendar so you can begin to schedule your other weekly and day-to-day activities so that you achieve your goals for the year.

Step 2: Plan your weekly recurring schedule

Now that you have an overview of all your big events for the year.

You now focus on your weekly schedule.

Your weekly schedule includes all of the recurring events & tasks you do on a weekly basis. For example if you host a staff meeting on the first Monday of every month, schedule this into your weekly calendar for the whole year on the day & week of the month it falls.

What tasks do you do on a regular basis throughout your month?

Schedule these all now in your calendar.

Step 3: Plan your daily schedule

Finally, plan your daily schedule.

Every week, set aside an hour on either a Sunday afternoon or Monday morning to plan out your week.

List out all of the tasks you wish to complete during the week and log them into your calendar. Allocate them to a day & time that you will COMMIT to completing them.

Plan out your entire day, from the time you get up until when you go to bed.

At the end of the week reflect on how successful you have been in achieving all of the goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the week. Imagine how super productive you will become when you actually commit to your calendar.

If you follow this 3-step process, you can be free of the time-consuming decision making of what to focus on next as you will already have your entire schedule set up for the whole year, down to your weekly, then down to your daily schedule.

You will know exactly what you are doing for each day of the year, and you will be able to make the most out of your time.

Watch your business grow as you achieve all of the goals you set yourself each week.
